Where creativity
meets research.
Alongside photography and film, I work as a Changemaker, the title awarded to graduates of the Master's in Economic Transformation. It reflects a way of working that treats research as a creative act: asking sharper questions, testing ideas in the real world, and translating findings into strategy that organisations can actually use.

about me.
Hi, I'm Mo, driven by curiosity and at work between marketing, research and creative practice.
For as long as I can remember, I've looked at the world with curiosity, always wondering how things could be smarter, better, or different. I get energy from analyzing complex problems and coming up with creative solutions that make a real impact. This connects for me with the Japanese concept of ikigai: work where talent, passion, and contribution to society come together.
With my background in Creative Business and Economic Transformation, I connect marketing, communication, and innovation with sustainable change. I work precisely, learn quickly, take initiative, and believe that the best results come from working together and continuously learning from one another.
Professional background & competencies.
I'm at my best where strategy meets craft. My strengths sit in creative thinking and problem-solving, which I put to work through photography, video and design as much as through research and writing, and I move comfortably between the analytical and the visual sides of a project. Strong communication ties it together, whether that's presenting findings to stakeholders, briefing a shoot, or writing for an audience.
Outside of work, reading, football and photography keep me curious and give me a wider lens on culture and people, which feeds directly back into how I approach creative and research work. It's this combination, creativity, strategy, photography, video and research, working together rather than in separate lanes, that defines how I work and what I bring to a team.
Languages & what drives me.
I move between Dutch, English and Arabic day to day, which has shaped how I think about audiences and translation, not just of language but of ideas across cultures and contexts.

Let's create and
drive change together.
Let's talk.
